Amidst the winters, a cold wave of accusations and allegations again hit the AMU students for raising anti-national slogans.

Social media is abuzz with the claim that  students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) raised anti-national slogans calling out against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP chief minister Yogi  while holding a protest against the rapists and murderers of Sanjali and also supporting actor Naseeruddin Shah’s recent statement of being unsafe in our own country.

In relation to the statement, an FIR was recently filed by “Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha” against the Ex-President AMUSU Maskoor Ahmad Usmani and Vice-President Hamza Sufyan along with several others.

AMU has always been in such controversies as before also such claims of raising anti-national slogans in AMU had hit the news portals.

Whereas denying the allegations both Maskoor Ahmed Usmani and Hamza Sufyan  has claimed that no anti-national slogans were raised.

It was only against the administration and RSS that the voice was raised which was for meeting the justice for Sanjali.

Also, beside this the time said in the allegation i.e, 2:30 P.M. is deceiving as the protest march was carried out by the students at 5:30 P.M.

This is not for the first time that AMU is being targeted for hoarding anti-national sentiments but has always been the target of polarising powers whether it was a Jinnah’s portrait issue ,Ramadhan controversy or this recent anti-national slogan issue.

It seems from Subramaniam Swami to the people of Hindu Mahasabha, the Muslim character of AMU is eye pricking.
